Noticed a post this morning by Swoly so I don't think he was banned.

Thanks Xerobull for your kind words and information. We've definitely cut our expenses and have our eye on the bigger picture.

I want to give a heart felt thanks to everyone on CF who has donated. You know who you are. My wife thanks you very very much.

This part right here makes me feel a lot better about what your wife is doing and her motives.

As Xerobull and pouhe's poignant stories prove, what's best for the parents isn't always what's best for the kids. Given the choice, I always side with what's best for the kids.

Good luck with everything and be sure to keep us updated. Like I say in every thread like this, I miss my boys after just a few hours of being away from them, so I can't even imagine what it's like to not have your kids in your life. So I, too, am definitely pulling for you guys.

Through this entire situation, she has always put her son first. She's waited patiently, waiting for her aunt and uncle to say when the time is right. However, it looks like the time is never going to be right. They suggested counseling, we agreed, saying we would pay for it. They never followed through. Even the mediator brought up counseling, but apparently the kid is SO BUSY even after the school year for counseling. Its crazy, cause I think they are more worried about their feelings being hurt, winning and losing, and the kid actually loving his mom.

Everyone - I want to thank everyone again who has donated.

    UPDATE -

I just recieved the fax from our lawyer regarding the AMICUS Attorney fees. They are way more than we imagined. Orginally our lawyer said a depost of around $500 to $1000 was sufficient. However, the court stated $3000/side now. Any help is appreciated. This totally blindsided us.

Get a second job waiting tables at Pappadeaux on the weekend. You can easily make $200 a Saturday working 12 to 12. That will help you get money.

I suspect that there is a lot more to the story, and there are always at least 3 sides to a story. I will just say that I hope you her son ends up happy and well adjusted.

That seems excessive. I think that we paid less than $1000 each for an amicus when I won custody of my son. You should discuss this with your lawyer.

Don't mean to derail the thread, why did he get banned?

I ask because we've had our share of rifts in the past and at one point I believe I called him a girl.

I hope tim and his wife gets to their goal. I can understand the frustration.
