    Teaser out today.

Despite the second movie being a bit of a mess, I still have high hopes for this one. Hopefully it'll tie up all the stories, plus be a bridge to the Lord of the Rings films.

I've enjoyed these Hobbit films for the most part, but each movie really shouldn't be 2.5 hours.

i realize the video says teaser as well, so I am not blaming you, but why is this considered a 'teaser'? Isn't it just a trailer?

The first and second were underwhelming. Will probably rent the third.

When will people realize these movies majorly suck and are an abomination in relation to the book?

I just can't over how hard Peter Jackson is trying to make these like LotR when they really should have been, besides one to two movies max, a completely different tone.

How am I supposed to feel all this weight they are trying to convey after I've already seen THE battle for Middle Earth?

My thoughts exactly. There is no epic feeling for this at all like they're trying to force down our throats. Should have made this a comedic little brother since the srs big brother epic has already been made.

Plus I can't take dwarves seriously. I'm rooting for the dragon.

These movies are more nostalgia for fans of the original than trying to be better than the original.

Avatar's sequel would make a bunch of money just for letting people relive that feeling.

The song in the background of the trailer is the song Pippin sings for Denethor when Faramir leads the charge on Osgiliath.

    LOTR was so epic...
The Hobbit trilogy thus far has been good not great.

I love all these flicks, even the first Hobbit installment, which was a bit of a let down. Guess I'm easy to please where Tolkein is concerned, although I have huge disagreements with the changes to the novels Jackson felt he had to do, the goofus (Elves at Helm's Deep? Give me a break!). I'm looking forward to this, and will see it at midnight, like I've seen all the others. Can't wait!

The second one was the best one. Where are people getting these horrible opinions from?

I've enjoyed both of the previous movies but never read the book so I guess there's not really anything for me to get mad at.
