She did. The scene was cut. In the dvd extras it will show it. Her skin is made of bulletproof rubber. The bullets all bounce off of her, then she uses a men in black wand to make everybody forget what happened. Wish they included the scene, but time was an issue since they randomly cut half the episodes down to 40 minutes run-time.
eh..useless episode. Spoiler 1. quinn finds haqqani. pretty easily. 2. decides to build a bomb and blow him up. 3. dumbass carrie interferes and makes situation worse as usual so she can save the day. 4. pulls a gun out and of course her pakistani BF is there to stop her without any of haqqani's men seeing her. 5. CIA dude is sitting in a car smiling with no tinted windows.
Spoiler Not totally... Spoiler Since they renewed the series for another season, they're likely in the process of setting up additional story-lines to springboard off this stellar season. The main thing revealed was that there is likely some sort of multi-gov't plan to take out Haqqani that is being carried out with limited CIA involvement (Quinn's NATO lady helping with that). That's why Lockhart was trying to press Carrie if she had "heard" anything. We're not sure whether Dar is a true associate of Haqqani or whether or not he's part of another operation.
If this week is the season finale, then it better be longer than 45 minutes like these last two episodes.
Yea...it seems nothing is as it seems right now. We're not getting all the details. Otherwise, it would just be too obvious for Quinn to go right in and blow up the terrorist leader. And, it would be dumb if Carrie is out there parading around trying to protect the terrorist leader from assassination to...what...save Quinn and maybe herself? And, the idea that you have a white male and white female parading around right outside the compound without anyone caring and/or noticing in Pakistan of all places is laughable. On another note, I was pissed to find out Fox is not renewing the show "Gracepoint". I thought it was pretty good and I liked watching Anna Gunn in it. I thought the show was well acted and interesting. I can't believe more people didn't watch that show. It will be a good Netflix viewing, though, when it comes there for those who haven't seen it. I'm not sure where they would have gone with season two exactly, though. I guess I'll go track down the Brit show it was based on and watch that. At least it hasn't been cancelled...yet.
God, that was so boring. FU Showtime! I'm thinking I may just cancel Showtime at this point. I'll find out what happens on Homeland on Netflix a year after next season ends. I might recover from this season finale by then.
inside the circle hit. it was a smart ending, and ultimately this season was just a complete teaser. i'm not excited for the next season. i'll just wait until it's available online.
