Does anyone know much about his situation? Is he ever going to produce again? I always thought he was a pretty solid player.
Yeah, Camby actually did come back and play. He made his season debut on friday 01/17/03 after rehabbing his hip from surgery. In 15 seconds, he picked up a foul and collided into a Cavs player and limped off the court. He has sat out the last 3 games and has spraigned his ankle. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/news/archive/2003/01/17/sports2127EST0605.DTL
Camby actually came back and played a few more minutes in that game. He hasn't played since. He is due to come back some time this week. He should do well on a pathetic Denver team...if he stays healthy, which is slim given his history. But if he is, he'll produce good numbers. He wants out of Denver, and I think so does everyone else.
Camby recently went on record with how he's unhappy in Denver, how he wants to get back to the East Coast. A few days later he did a 180 degree turn in the press, how happy he is in Denver, great organization, B.S. B.S. (Someone got to him---his agent, maybe? "Don't complain to the press; remember, you're always happy, just like your team will always love you. Meantime, I'll try to get you traded.")
Marcus Camby is always hurt he doesnt produce much at all because hes always hurt, its like something is wrong with him and he cant stay healthy. If he could be healthy i think he would produce great numbers.
