Mathews has been no good after major surgery and Delladova is a great defender, but keep the narrative churning.
Carmello part 2 isnt going to get you anywhere. The Nuggets played well and had a better record minus carmello part 1.
Butler is much better this year. But last year's Harden is better than this year's Butler. The question is whether Harden can return to form. This is the conundrum Morey said he faced. It's hard to trade guys for lower value than you know they are capable of.
I think Harden is better on his own but what would be better for a team.. 1. Harden as a 1-way PG + non-playmaking, defensive off-guard 2. Butler as a 2-way SG + playmaking traditional passing point-guard Remember Harden is averaging 6.7 assists but turnovers are also astronomically high...
Wow, what a dumb statement, just stop embarrassing yourself. Matthews hasn't been as consistent of a shooter so far this season, but his defense has been ironclad. Anyone who watches him play at all this season can attest to that. And Delly is just a little bish on defense, too slow to guard the top PGs, and too small to guard 2s.
Do you watch Dallas and Cavs games? What you're saying is like the opposite of what's happening on the court. Just on their bodies alone Della is too small and too slow to guard an SG like Harden c'mon man dude's like the pg version of Scalabrine all heart no game the only reason he is at sg is because they need to have Smith come off the bench. Matthews oth has never been athletic or quick his D is a lot like Battier so even if he is coming back from surgery he is still effective.
Jimmy Iso? I watch a lot of bulls games and they have lost a lot lately because of Jimmy butler. He's a great player and talent but he's a number 2 player not a first option like Harden. Butler is fantastic on defense thought like really really good. But offensively it's not even close harden is better in all aspects by miles.
I do not watch the Bulls. But based of box scores I would have guesses that DRose was pounding the ball way more than Butler. Is this inaccurate?
there still isn't a consistent balance between the two as far as offensively and couple that with gasol, its no surprise the bulls have trouble finding a rhythm as a team this year. They can be a great team one night and look completely different the next.
I agree. I haven't watched any Bulls games in the last several weeks, but unless Jimmy Butler changed his play style a lot in that that period, I didn't notice the ball sticking too much prior. Rose has been surprising effective when he takes the ball to the basket, it's his terrible jumpshot that makes him a below-average player in efficiency.

How good is Jimmy if the Bulls are barely above .500 themselves? Rockets should just get Thibs and some better 3pt shooters. Our offense wont be perfect with Harden but our defense can easily be improved through better coaching. You dont want to give up on a supreme talent, because who knows when a window will open and the Rockets could be ready to pounce.
If Harden had teammates that wouldn't miss Dunks, layups, could make open shots CONSISTENTLY and grab some rebounds I think Harden would be fine. Last 2 games our pure point guards scored 11 points total I think...nuff said
