Griffey is expensive, and not that good anymore. He's injury prone, and he half-asses it out there.

Cleveland Indians outfielders Milton Bradley or Coco Crisp. Rumor has it Bradley may actually be on the block, how about Lane for either of these guys.

Well, if the Astros are going for a CF, then why did they re-up Biggio for a $3 million extension? Surely no utility player is worth that much, not to mention Biggio isn't a great hitter anymore.

The Astros better hope for a ton of Ks and grounders from the pitchers this season. Because our OFs and the park's dimensions are going to be might bad for balls hit out of the infield.

Lance is really underrated as an outfielder - he's no superstar defensively, but he's better than most Leftfielders out there.

Look at our two primary competitors' leftfielders : Moises Alou and Albert Pujols. Both are quite terrible.

Hidalgo is a pretty good defensive right fielder.

we should have or get a prospectin the minors to play center to replace bigg when he retires. i stay loyal to bigg cause hes always played hard so i have no qurrell with him.

The problem is the dimension of our outfield. You can get away with pretty mediocre RF and LF in this park. Neither corner is all that deep. But the center field is just too vast for any of our OF to cover. We basically have 4 corner OFs in Hidalgo, Biggio, Lane, and Berkman. None of them can truly patrol CF well.

In my perfect dream world, Andrew Jones would be our CF. But, like many other things, it's just a pipe dream.

I'm holding out hope that Jimmerson will improve in AAA this season and be our CF of the future.

Where'd you hear that? Bradley's one of the guys I'm hoping the 'Stros will look at after this season.

Pujols has been designated the full tiem 1st basebamn this season.

Hidalgo is a very average fielder....he just has a great arm.

i don't think Bradley would fit in here at all. He's got a very large mouth.

He had serious attitude problems in the minors & in his early ML career. By most accounts I've read, he turned a page last year. It's easier to get away with that crap on a young team like Cleveland (and Montreal before that) than it is on a veteran club like the Astros. Remember, even Carl Everett behaved while he was here. ;)
