Maybe Garnett some day, but right now, the better player in Duncan.

Duncan's better because he can guard Shaq, sort of. I think I take Shaq or mourning overall.

HP, I agree with the defensive player of the year. He sure could shut the round mound of rebound down.

The Kid, has plenty of upside and I wouldn't consider Duncan/Zo/Shaq-Fu as good defensively as good as the Kid.

The trey was added to the kid's arsenal this year shooting 47% behind the arc, he can't keep that up. Duncan shot a bunch of 3's in college, 22' vs. 23'8".

In the latest issue of The Sporting News, they rank the 50 best players, and name 10 players to watch out for in the next 10 years.

    31. Steve Francis (1 behind Odom)
    43. Hakeem Olajuwon (made some comment about Van Horn being ahead of Dream may mean the end of the world)

One of the 10 to watch:

    Cuttino Mobley

    Others to watch:

    Kelvin Cato

Best Crossover: Allen Iverson, but watch out for Steve Francis .

They named Duncan the best player, hard to argue. Pippen was named 24th. Whatever.

Player most likely to receive a favorable call: Not the Devil, but Grant Hill. What!?! I guess that foul on Robinson right before he was knocked cold wasn't a favorable call.

Just thought it was pretty cool that Mobley, and even Cato were finally getting some national pub.

    ------------------
Is it any coincidence that we are the only team mentioned in the national anthem?

    I didn't think so!

I would have to rethink that, what about Garnett?!?!?

I think he can do a little more than Dunkin' due to his longer shooting range and ball handling skills.

    But what do I know?

    i gotta go with Hoop-T

Garnett...bar none. He's the fastest 7'er since ... since .... Dream. No dream shake, yet...but he doesn't need it with his better dribbling.

I also look for Garnett to be named defensive player of the year at some point in his career.
