What does this entail? I've never done a google + chat. I feel like it will be inundated and my comp will crash.

There's haters all ove the place in the internet, you'll be surprised how many haters Kobe has, the more fame you have the more hate. You just have to take the neg. comments in a more casual manner, that's all.

Can someone please tell him that he's doing a great job an we appreciate him but that we need someone else to score in addition to Harden, and thus we need him to look for his shot more. Thanks.

Agreed. Need Linsanity - He has to have that joyful abandon and just play his game. If Lin and Harden can both play at the top of their game and make their teammates better as they both have done so far ~ its going to be a high-powered Smooth flowing, firing on all cylinders BEAST.

Rapid-fire GO! I want to see our backcourt having so much damn fun its infectious.

You should think of it this way: the haters come out in full force only when the player's talent is great enough to cause a stir by unsettling expectations. It's when someone sinks into mediocrity that people stop hating and stop bothering, comfortable with a known quantity. Love and hate go together. :)

In a weird way, the hater phenomenon is actually a positive sign.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Just some of the racist and really vulgar remarks (mostly from resentful Knicks fanbase) get me down a little. It's pretty shocking to hear in 2012.

I disagree. He will continue to be ridiculed and belittled even if he sinks to mediocrity, even after death. The hate goes beyond normal. Not comparing Lin's to Amanda Todd's story except for her haters which remind me of the type of people that hate on Lin.

I don't think the hate goes beyond normal. It's just for different reasons. I think because Lin went to Harvard, I think some people think he doesn't "need" the NBA. It's like class resentment.
