i guess that is how bad the east sucks now... tsk tsk... i miss those east-west rivalries... magic/bird, magic/mj... lakers/pistons, lakers/celtics... now its more of an interconference or interdivison rivalry.. lakers/kings, rockets/lakers, rockets/jazz, every team in the west/lakers or jazz, rockets/suns... :(

Melo goes ahead of the matrix.
I hate Koby, mcgrady ahead. (biased)
No way in hell Duncan is ahead of garnett
Yao over shaq and most definitely Gasol over Magloire
Steve is a top two point guard in the east.. that's messed up
    AI has dropped off. 1. pierce 2. James 3. AI-3 4. Hamilton 5. Redd
Oh yeah, K-Mart is bankrupt, Sheed is the new shariff...

PGs in the East should go Marbury, Francis, Kidd, Billups. Kidd had knee surgery and if game 7 was any indication (papers in NY state he still can't go full speed), he's going to drop off tremendously this year, especially if (and when) Kmart goes to another team.

AK's good, but I don't think that good.

If this is for regular season, Peja's #1 at SF. If it's playoff, Peja isn't even ranked.

"No way in hell Duncan is ahead of garnett" Duncan's won two Larry O'Brien tropehis, KG hasn't won any. Duncan's the better defender, better rebounder, and more clutch. In every aspect he's ahead of KG. He also serves his country when asked, and doesn't bow out like KG did this year becuase his body is so tired after getting out of the first round.

Yao over Shaq I think is a joke somebody told me the other day. Please. Shaq's #1 until he retires.

Mike Redd should be higher, he's a very good, underrated player.

This list was too damn big..

say top 5 for each position.

    Point Guard:
    Jason Kidd
    Baron Davis
    Stephon Marbury
    Mike Bibby
    Steve Francis
(I omitted Cassell because he is too much of a defensive liability even though he had a break out season, and DWade only had this one good season)

    Shooting Guard:
    Tracy McGrady
    Kobe Bryant
    Allen Iverson
    Lebron James
    Paul Pierce

    Small Forward:
    Vince Carter
    Ron Artest
    Shawn Marion
    Peja Stojakovic
    Andre Kirilenko

    Power Forward:
    Tim Duncan
    Kevin Garnett
    Jermaine Oneal
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Elton Brand

    Center:
    Shaquille O'Neal
    Yao Ming
    Ben Wallace
    Brad Miller
    Erick Dampier

    J

I think next year or the year after Yao will surpass Shaq as the most dominant center.. Shaq is on the decline and Yao is on the upswing. Yao is a year more experienced and it will make a huge difference this time around.

McInnis plays point for the Cavs, LBJ occaisionally slides over to the 1, but is usually at the 2/3 spots.
