Last year was a great year for the Bears as they finally made the tourney again for only the fourth time in Baylor history. It was one of the best feel good stories of the season and there are high hopes for them again this time around. Their starting 5 are back and better plus some of the new faces look pretty good as well. Rivals has us at 4th in the Big XII and I've seen some other projections listing us higher. Watch out for this Qunicy Acy kid. Only a couple games in and he's already got "Quincy Nasty" and "The Quincy Acy Show" nicknamed for him. I've seen him live and he just electrifies the crowd. Also, seeing David Wesley as a student team manager makes me chuckle. Sic 'em Bears!
Also, right on cue, Acy starts his career 18-18, a Big 12 record for consecutive shots made. Next stop, 25!
I will be watching them in person this week in the Anaheim Classic. Potential matchups against Arizona St., St. Mary's and Wake Forest. Should be a good test for the Bears. And Acy will make many a highlight reel this year. Sic 'em!
I bet the Baylor Bears at -4...good win. Should be a good game against Arizona State (14th) tomorrow. We can see where we're really at against a tougher opponent.
Don't sleep on the Bears. Of course, I fell asleep before the game ended. The Bears are a very solid top 25 team right now. It's stupid they weren't ranked coming in. Beat the hell out of WF. That's at 9:30 on Sunday, right?
Drew continues to do a fantastic job at BU. The team is much deeper this year and Dunn is lights out. Fun to watch that guy when he gets going. They will be a top 3 team in the Big 12 this year. Tomorrow's game starts at 9:30. Time to get revenge on Wake for beating us in football.
were better now without bruce imo quincy acy is solid and fred ellis isn't too shabby either for being a freshmen. lets hope that we can keep up the good recruiting
Argh...we played like ass. Bad FT shooting early on, Acy fouled out, Lace was off. Wake was too big for us tonight combined with that. At least tomorrow we'll be ranked thanks to our win over ASU.
Typical aggie coming over and posting in a BU basketball thread. I'm counting two wins over the rednecks. They barely beat SFA.
We're currently ranked 24. Until Big XII play our only real challenge is Wazzou. Who knows what we could be ranked at the start of conference play.

Nice. I'm glad we kicked their ass but I wanted us to run it up. They are a terrible, terrible football program. We will beat them every time we play this year. The necks are a bottom feeder as they should be.
