Been some media noise about Raptors changing course after seeming to have plateaued. Will Masai put his stamp on the roster finally, and if so, how?

Do they have ways to add a significant player or do they have to go to rebuild with youth?

Can Morey get useful pieces like Patterson and Lowry from them?

They'll be making a lot of changes, but I don't see them giving up Lowry. And even if he was made available, what do we have that the Raptors would want?

I suspect that they're going continue accumulating assets to flip for a star, but that said I don't think Lowry really fits into such a plan, given his age and contract.

For me the question is if Toronto is willing to dump his salary for a nominal return, or if they're going to hold out for 1st rounders.

Its a pattern for Lowry ... he has a stretch in the season where he looks like an all-star, but eventually he breaks down. Still, would love to have him. I think he'd be great next to Harden.

If Lowry truly has been injured this series, I don't see why you would want to blow it up. Just re-tool (maybe add a guy like Brandan Wright for big help off the bench) and hope to stay healthy next year.

Keep the core together unless a really really good deal presents itself and accrue minor assets, similar to what Boston has been doing the last 2 years.

Derozan's 30 points on 30 mid range shots per night doesn't seem like it's helping

Biggest change will be a new head coach

Llull, Papa Nick and #18. Wouldn't shock me. But first, let's see how long we can keep the present roster giving us presents!

They could both relieve burdens from the other.

They need to, that team is poorly constructed. They're best offense is Lowry, Derozan, and Lou Williams taking stupid contested step back jumpers lol. They also don't play a lick of defense.

I wonder if Ross will be part of that core. Our biggest need is at the point, but if
they are willing to move him for the 18th pick and Johnson, I would consider it.

Ross could replace K-Pap. His shooting percentage could really improve with H and H.

TOR is not like the BKN situation where everyone was old and their window was closed. TOR is a still a young, growing team with a bright future, especially in the EC.

TOR still had a good season. Yes, there are kinks to fix. They will add to the puzzle, but they won't destroy it.

Anything now would be speculating, but I do expect some changes, and an interesting offseason for them.

They are a treadmill team in the East. If they were smart they would blow that team entirely up because that team is not going any where and in the East. I think they should be open to trading everyone.

Bolded = what the thread is about.

Underlined = what the thread is actually about.

Lowry has been just terrible in the second half of the season.
