Would Lamarcus Aldridge be a better fit in LA than Dwight?

Or, D'Antoni can just grow a pair and find a way to do his job for once.

Not sure if the Blazers would do that..especially with Dwight being a FA and given his play lately.

If i was the Lakers I'd do this in a heart beat.

 

Dwight and Gasol both need to play on the block, but Dwight is the better player.

If they could flip Gasol for Aldridge it would make them so much better. Aldridge would be a fantastic P/R player for Nash.

I don't think Portland would take that, so I'd even trade Dwight for Aldridge purely for the fit. Dwight is MUCH more talented than Aldridge, but D'Antoni doesn't play defense anyways, might as well load your team w/ offensive beasts who can shoot FTs.
