Not really sure what happened with Horny in PHX...and not really sure what Phil Jackson has in store for his Knicks... Pick and Roll with Carmelo and Kristaps...would be interesting

jalen rose has been saying rambis forever. figured that would happen. hornacek basically had a rockets-like season this year. probably wasn't all, or even that much, his fault. of course, his break-out was from low expectations and low scrutiny in phoenix so we'll see what he does in a big market situation like this.

People forget Hornacek's great first season with the Suns.

48 win and barely missed playoffs in a season everyone thought they were tanking. They woul have been like 4th in east that year I think.

This year was undermined by conflict with ownership and players. Who knows if any of it was hornaceks fault but I knew he would get another shot.

Yes the fluke season in which guys like Dragic, Green, Morris twins, Frye were all putting up career numbers. You don't hire a coach based on just one season from years ago. If that's the case then why not rehire D'Antoni, he actually won Coach of the Year with the Suns too from couple years ago.

Turrible. So who's going to be the next head coach of the Knicks and how long will it be? I'm setting over/under 2.5 years.

    Mild threat avoided. Thanks, Phil.

Seriously, Melo is about to force himself out of NY just like he escaped my Mile High City long, long ago.

Keep on trolling the Jazz like you did with MJ. Bring on Bryon Russell as a free throw specialist because, as you know, he is known for choking just a few feet from that very line during "The Shot"

Yes, 48 wins from THAT roster. Getting career years out of those players with Bledsoe mostly injured if I recall correctly. You could say Rockets making conference finals was fluke year.

I agree. The way it looks, the Eastern Conference will remain a sort of D-league in the NBA. No comparison to the Western Conference. I tried to think which teams can the Knicks win next season. The only team that came to mind was the Nets. It would be pretty amazing that the two worst teams in the NBA were both from NY.

Wow, I don't think I can recall any such jokes back in his playing days. Were there any?

Is it more because he was in Utah vs NY, or he was in 90s vs 10s/ on TV vs Internet... Or as a player vs a coach figure, as in coaches don't get to stick around as long as players, so it's more ok to make fun of them.

A few jokes here and there could be fun, but too many will make it unfunny or tasteless imo.
