I'm surprised people still get worked up over these inconsistencies- the nba has long since demonstrated it's not really a serious sports league. They're way more about entertainment & stories than legitimate competition.

Anyway, if you're anti gsw's, even if it lowers the odds, this puts your most desired possible outcome/worst case for gs on the table- them going down at full strength. No excuses. Has your worst bad guy still on the screen to root against, more people watching longer. Once you accept that's where their priorities are, that it's a product increasingly geared for kids, the nba is much less aggravating.
