Our next generation product is here, and it is very sweet.

Blows away the competition, and it has a cell phone as well.

The news leaked out, so our hand was forced, so to speak, but this device is the SHIZNITZ !

Sounds like a cool toy, so what other developers have signed on for this?

is there an associated PC app for transferring music and metadata or do you rely on YME, Rhapsody, WMP, etc? can you create playlists on the device itself? on the fly? one-touch, using a seed song, ie, "play me more like this?"

    DD,

You forgot the most important thing! How much does it cost! If it has cell phone GPS and game I would be interested in it, but I would like to know the cost and see if I could afford something like that.

I thought the last one was only for sale in the UK and other places not here in the US.. When is this going to be for sale in the US a year after the UK shipment??

One other question.. with all the wireless turned on how long does the battery last? 10 mins? :p

Avaialbe next year in the US.

    TV out indeed !!!

    128mg RAM

Cost is yet to be determined.

BUT...think of this for a moment.....Motorola is installing Wi Fi towers in all major cities to compete with Cable for broadband.

You could be connected at all times using our device, AND, you could get a free phone by using SKYPE or something and make IP to IP calls all over the world...FREE !!

That would just require some software to handle it....

Basically it is a bit more powerful than a current generation X-box....but IN YOUR HAND !!

WAY more powerful than the PSP and many more features.....this is the device that can change the world...IMHO.

    I gotta tell ya, DD...

The features sound very impressive - far better than the big boys (Sony, MS, Nintento)....

    however...

Since your company is NOT one of the big boys, your standard must be set higher. It's not a level playing field - they have clout, they have an established audience, they have image, and they have immense 3rd party support - all of which you don't have (yet). So your margin for error is zero. The phone must kick ass. The games must kick ass and be plentiful. The graphics, sound..... everything about the device must kick ass. The people who review your device must have NOTHING negative to say about it.

That said, I honestly and truly hope that you and your company achieve great success with this device. I believe your vision and progress is immensely superior and I hope that momentum swings to your favor!

So the ultimate goal be for this to essentially replace your computer, cell phone, pda, mp3 player, pc-type gaming device and camera?

    How big is it?
