Deal Done, he signed a contract so let's start the show.

7 years ago he made the greatest comeback ever at the age of 25 as a Rocket but in the same day at the age of 32 he signed a veteran minimum deal. What a turnaround.

Maybe it's his last chance to get out of the first round as a competitive player, not a 35 YO bench warmer. We shall see.

The main characters are still the same, anyway, so it's going to be hot

Imagine Houston now getting a top 5 player in the NBA who is only 25 years old in the prime of his career.

People take for granted how much of a coup acquiring TMac was. We would kill for another chance to get a player of his calibre now, but settling for old 31 year old Gasol...

I was shocked at how many pages his official Detroit Pistons thread racked up. Wonder how many this one will reach?

Where's the current 25 year old t Mac? Tell me how to get him here, since you're obviously smarter than Morey. But tell me in the Morey about to quit thread. Don't derail this one.

As an outspoken TMac fan, I'll post in here quite a bit. Should be interesting to see how he plays on the Hawks.

But yeah, that deal for TMac was fantastic. Too bad we couldn't get the role players

Do you think he starts at SF over Marvin Williams or is the 6th man?

Michael Cunningham: #Hawks coach Larry Drew says key with T-Mac is not to "put him in a position where you are not going to wear him down." about 14 minutes ago

Michael Cunningham: #Hawks coach Drew says right now Sy is No. 2 PG and "we'll see who shakes loose" in FA. Says T-Mac will play some PG too. about 30 minutes ago

Well, if it's like last year, then you know the talk about the game action will stop around the end of the regular season and first round of the playoffs.

after that, the TOFs, like other fans, will be watching the playoffs, except they make up the dumbest jealousy threads with mindless logic like these gems:

TMAC > Lebron when it counts....
    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=205565

Is Durant really that much better than Tmac?
    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=204747

    Rose or McGrady ??

I think that teams offense needs someone who's smart with the ball and can put teammates into better positions like TMac.

Marvin Williams is such a meh player. You can't even use "he has upside" on him any more.

TMac in his prime I would take over last years Durant or Rose.

Rose was completely helpless in the playoffs when it mattered against Lebron.

TMac elevates his game in the playoffs (I know he hasn't made it out of the first round but all of his numbers improve).

Same with Durant. Westbrook controls the ball on that team even if Durant is a better player
