He was terrible then, he's worse now.

Most fans who wanted him then have learned their mistake.

We need him to space the floor. The perfect stretch 4 for Morey's philosophy

I can only speak for myself -- I never wanted him. I think it was rumored at one point that Dwight wanted him here and would be more likely to sign if he was, so maybe that's what people were latching onto? He's a terrible jump shooter & averages way more field goal attempts than any 4th/5th option ever should, IMO. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe if we had no other options and could install a device that would deliver an electric shock when he tried to pull up anywhere outside of say, 4 feet from the basket.

Uh, no f'ing way. He's overpaid, jacks up 3's he can't make, and hasn't exactly made the Pistons a winner. We can do better.

Yes I Have!! No Thank You...Unless of course he can be convinced to stay down low, BUT D-Mo is killing it as of late so he seems unneeded. What we need is a true stretch 4. Someone who can consistently hit the 3!

This would make sense if he was a good shooter, but he isn't. Both D-Mo and T-Jones would do a better job as a pretend stretch 4.

This is the thing, Josh Smith has shot his lowest three point attempt total in 4 years, he really is looking to drive more this season he has been a beast on defence lately
