    LOL,

    this is a recent article

McGrady must think about that every time he goes to Toronto . What does he think when he's in Orlando, Houston or that town in China?

It's not T-Mac's fault Grant Hill wasn't able to stay healthy. A Hill/McGrady combo would have been equally as dangerous.

It never is his fault for some reason. (sarcasm)

Tmac said it himself, he wished he never left Toronto.

That means if he were to time travel, he wouldn't go to Orlando or Houston

Sounds reasonable to me. Vince was amazing in his prime, and T-Mac could have been his version of Pippen. He probably would have been a better player and had an even better career had he been able to be the #2 all along.

T-mac loves hindsight . we all know that. but it's not his nature to stay around an organization for awhile because he wants the Kobe treatment.

He obviously left because Vince Carter was the more popular player.

Actually that would have been good, because Tmac wouldn't be "it's on me Tmac":p

    Very reasonable assertion.

He was being honored by the Raptors and Toronto community forgave him (and Vince). It makes sense to recognize and appreciate their consideration.

Even in Orlando, if he stayed another year he could have had Dwight to develop with.

Toronto had a great young team when TMac was there. An OKC of its time.
    Carter-TMac-Christie-Davis-Willis

I think that Carter and TMac would have been the poor man's Jordan - Pippen.

But it's hard not to see the TMac - Hill as another version of Jordan - Pippen. Hill was all NBA and a MVP candidate.

Even Yao - TMac seem poised to be the next great SG - C combo following the end of Shaq and Kobe, in terms of dominance.

    Injuries man..

Well from T-mac, you know it's from T-mac.

God didn't tell him that or challenged him or made him turn cheeks.

I don't understand why fans boo someone for signing on another team. People get an opportunity to make some money elsewhere and should do it. It is not like Mcgrady forced a trade and blasted the city of Toronto. The Orlando Magic might have reason to be mad.

Has there ever been en elite player who said he never thought he would be elite? That just confirms what people always suspected. No heart, no drive or work, just ridiculous natural ability.

I admit, this made me cringe.

Soft-spoken, but no filter. That has always been a problem of his.

But let's not lose the forest for the trees, dude is trying to do a great thing. He definitely has the resources and appears to have surrounded himself with good people. I wish him the best of luck.

Well he did stay in Toronto... for about half of one fateful game... on one end of the court... wearing Rockets' Red.
