    Clyde is flat out horrible, it's like he doesn't practice his craft and just shows up to home games. Both Calvin and Clyde are embarassments to the Rockets franchise. The Rockets can do much better.

    Yeah, what's wrong with Calvin? Clyde is annoying and glib (though I will always love him as a player). Calvin actually does real analysis.

    and Calvin is entertaining, when I heard Clyde steal his "put him in the popcorn machine" he said it so monotone i cringed so hard..Clyde will never give that job up... so unfair to Calvin and the city of Houston:(:(:(

    Calvin was 100X better color man than Clyde. I think Calvin and Bullard would make an excellent team. Drexler is an embarrassment.

    If you look up "90's roundtable" on youtube he is actually quite articulate/insightful/lucid/sane. Something just happens to his brain when he sits courtside and puts on those headphones...

    Yeah, I don't know what it is about the broadcast booth that makes him so bad. I've also read Clyde's book - it's not Shakespeare or anything but in that format he at least seems like a rational, thoughtful human instead of this supernova of insane, oblivious WTF moments and cliches we get on every broadcast.
