I can't believe PHX lost to the spurs without their starters. I didn't even see Dragic play in that game.

Twisted ankle. G.Green and especially Bledsoe played great, but D.Green+Parker were too much for them in 2nd half. Also they have a habit of squandering 10+ point leads in last quarter. Lakers, Spurs and finally Dallas were the same story.

They redeemed their Lakers' loss by beating OKC, but Spurs and Dallas loss with Memphis wins (over Miami Heat, no less) were too much for them. They will probably miss playoffs unless MEM loses to PHX and Dallas, which is highly unlikely.

Looks like Morey had the last laugh. Dragic should've stayed in Houston. I bet he's kicking himself now because of it.

Nah if I were him I would be happy to be in Phoenix rather than staying in Houston. Nothing on Harden but if he had to share a court with Harden, he probably wouldn't be able to enjoy such a high usage rate and probably wouldn't be the primary ballhandler for most of the game. Similarly, the stats he would have been able to put up would be very different.

Ultimately, a professional NBA career for a good (not great) player normally lasts about 10 to 12 years - which means his next contract is probably gonna be his last big payday. The situation he is in in Phoenix is definitely a better situation to showcase himself than if he had been with the Rockets.

If I were him, I wouldn't have done anything differently.

Well maybe we can trade for him using Asik, our pick and maybe Bev/Canaan so he can go to the playoffs next year.

right when the games were over i actually thought of dragic being 9th again and felt sorry for him. i mean as sorry as i can for a guy making like 18 million a year (and now he doesn't even have to play extra games).

what kind of odds could you have gotten on an eastern conference playoff team going 30-11 to finish the season and not make the playoffs?

The Dragon lives in the shadows of Big Shot Kyle aka Battery boy.
