http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2008-03-04/10163510656.shtml Chuck made a bet with a Rockets security guy. He made 5 3s out of 10 tries and won 40 bucks.
Time for Chuck to expand his game... Oh wait, maybe he should focus on making point-blank layups first. Sorry Hayesfan.
I won't believe it until I see it with my own two eyes!! oh wait... I still wont believe it and will drive right to TSO to get my vision checked out!!
I think the league average for 3 pointers is something like 36%, so I wonder where Chuck would shoot 36% from in game situations? That would be the theoretical equivalent of his 3 point line. I'm going to say 8 feet
I'll see your no defender and raise you out of bounds <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5460Yo8G5XU"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5460Yo8G5XU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Maybe Chuck has been sandbagging it this whole time to hustle the security guard out of $40...two years in the making. We can only dream, can't we?
Oh my God, it should be illegal to edit quotes like I just did... Sorry Hayesfan, I can't help myself...but this post was asking for me to tease you...
Great news ! This implicates he is working hard on scoring. Hope he'll improve his scoring so that when he is on court, he can provide some offensive threat.
Wait, so Hayes can make 50% of his uncontested 3 point shot, but not 50% of his FTs? Dude's priority is all messed up.
Okay!! I didn't even read the post until this morning and I am ragged on twice! LOL Hey I always said Chuck can shoot... just not in a game. It's all psychological. I seriously don't want him trying 3 pointers in a game though. $40 bets.. that's fine
i wonder do the tell him... look like your scared, don't even look towards the basket, don't shoot unless you're under the goal.... i personally would rather see chuck MISS shots from 12 foot and closer range than see him turn his back towards the goal and immediately look to get the ball out of his hands....
