Yeah how'd that career of his turn out? Never lived up to his contract and was out of the league before it ever even expired..
That contract was done out of spite to the Rockets. Cuban thought he was going to catch Morey in a moment of weakness and make him handcuff the Rockets to that contract. Plan Backfired Pubes.
Wow. The only reason Cuban signed him was to screw the Rockets. If a better offer shows up for either side, someone will skip town. As far as I am concerned they belong together and can enjoy their anal spelunking adventures with each other.
The contract was ridiculous, but the mavs could definitely afford to do it. Parsons at 15 mil is terrible Parsons and Dirk making roughly 23 mil combined is pretty good value
That's an odd way to look at it, if you own two completely independent businesses, one of them making huge profits doesn't ever justify the other hemorrhaging money. Combining them into a "well the combined businesses are doing well" statement, is just trying to sugar coat it.
So is my bank account, you can use dirk's contract to literally justify any bad decision, paying felton $4m? well that's fine, you're paying Dirk and Felton $12m Do i max Monta out next year? well that's ok I'll be paying Dirk and Monta $28m and so on and so forth. Getting the bolts for 1/3 the price doesn't make buying the nuts for 3x the price a smart decision. Sure you end up in the same place, but you just pissed away your competitive advantage by doing it.
You would leave your status as a true Rockets fan to be a Mavs fan for 15 million. A true 99er would never sell his status.
Funny dat. He is the one who was always emphasizing his 99er status as the most important thing on this board. Now he is willing to sell it for millions? Nobody cares now, nobody cared before, and nobody will care.
Parsons is okay with dissing the Rockets by saying they have the best owner and coach. Then a Rocket says that they will be fine without him and he takes it offensively? Please take your own advice and think before you speak.
