I was hoping that we'd get him for our bench. Bummer, unless this rather obscurely points to Morey dealing for a veteran point guard. Hmm.
Bulls are major players right now. Almost signed Anthony, then Gasol, Brooks, Mirotic. If they can trade for another star without giving up much(Rose,Noah,Butler), look out.
I wish Morey can think like that whete we can get proven role players but instead let's settle with 3 superstars and that should get us a chip with no coach and no bench. Meanwhile we have a skeleton roster and wasting Dwight's prime.
Bulls have had the best offseason so far. We still don't know about DRose, but it's a solid 1/2 punch at PG. Could play 2 guard as well with Rose on the court.
I wouldn't go that far as a skeleton roster. I mean we do have a strong starting 5 regardless of what people think of Jones. Now as far as a bench, I think it's in real bad shape if you ask me.
Will be interesting to see how Brooks does defensively in Thibs system. Watch Brooks look like a defensive stud once he gets there.
Real happy for him. He will always be a Rocket in my mind, but hopefully he gets to settle down instead of being traded halfway through the season (again.)
Gasol-Noah frontline is gonna be nice especially in the east. Wish you the best AB have a great season, and finally get you that big contract you deserve. I feel like he one of the only newer, talented rockets who hasnt't gotten paid, like lowry, dragic, lee, Patterson, and Landry lol
