    Les usually lets Morey do what he wants but I found out from people close to Morey that Morey wanted Dragic the whole time.

    After Portland loss, Morey had a talk with Les, with Morey saying, "If only you listened to me on Dragic".

    In a half joking way :)

    We all know Dragic is better than Lin
    We all know Morey made a mistake by not keeping Dragic
    We all know Lin was never going to play up to his contract

    It's pouring salt over the wound over and over again.

    I thought Morey didn't want Dragic's player option on the last year of the deal. I think it was clear Morey wanted Dragic over Lin, but at the time really felt he needed the roster flexibility to be able to make moves for Star Players.

    So what you are saying here is, Morey WOULD have taken Dragic and the P.O. but Les FORCED the Lin decision?

    Uh, can you blame us after the way this series has gone? Lin isn't just playing worse than Dragic. He's literally costing us this series. And making beaucoup dollars while doing so.

    What a ridiculous story.

    Of course he wanted Dragic. He pursued him before he ever pursued Lin.

    Here's some breaking news for you, Morey has admitted multiple times on the radio that he wanted to keep Dragic but didn't want to lose flexibility when they didn't have a star on the roster. That's why he wouldn't give him the option year. He has admitted that if they had Harden on the team already things would have been different.

    This wasn't Les telling Morey to let Dragic go and get Lin.
