    Rockets vs Mavericks
    When: Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.
    Where: American Airlines Center, Dallas.
Local TV: KNWS Ch. 51 (channel 2 on TWC)
    Radio: SportsRadio 610 AM

Preseason Records: Houston (1-1), Dallas (0-3)

    Rockets history vs Mavericks

    Injury Update:
Rockets: G Bob Sura (knee), F Ryan Bowen (hip) and F/G Bonzi Wells (groin/tooth) are out.
Mavs: G Jerry Stackhouse (knee), G Devin Harris (hamstring) and G Greg Buckner (knee) are questionable.

Mavericks Update: The Rockets will probably have to wait until their home opener on Nov. 4 to face all of the Mavericks. Dirk Nowitzki, Jerry Stackhouse, Jason Terry and others haven't played in Dallas' first three preseason games. Nowitzki, however, might be back on the court.

Let's see what the big man can do. We may come out a little sloppy as everyone gets used to playing with each other in a real game. We turn it on in the 2nd qtr.

I don't care if they win or lose the preseason game. I just hope Yao improves his conditioning and VSpan shows some flashes of brilliance.

Call me a fool!

I live in Dallas now, and passed up tickets for tuesdays game. 2nd row on floor, directly behind the Rockets Bench. Basically 10 feet from T-Mac & Co. Tickets sold on ebay for $200 (2 tickets).

Anything but preseason, I would of paid $400 for them. :D

I know it's the Mavs and they just went to the NBA Finals, but if they don't play at least one of their big guns, this is going to be the most lopsided (first half) of the preseason so far. I definitely prefer to see Dirk play though, so we can see how our improved defense holds up against an elite scorer. We can throw a lot of different looks at him now.

V-span A.K.A "Spaz" will be the hero of the game by diving for a loose ball while going out of bounds and taking out Avery Johnson and Jason Terry for the rest of the season (both sitting on the bench).

That will be team MVP stuff right there.

Remember though we didn't have McGrady in those four games we played Dallas last year so it should hopefully be different. I expect McGrady to get at least 20 + minutes this game so he can get into his normal conditioning when the season starts. Are Yao and Dirk playing for sure?? If so, I dont expect too much from Yao, just want to see how is conditioning and positioning on the floor is. I for one want Dirk to play in this game so McGradys can show him up again :D . I really want to see Head have another solid performance to get that backup PG spot. That's the only place where he'd get minutes with Battier, Wells, Snyder and McGrady clogging up the 2/3 positions and minutes and I personally think Luthur can have a big role for this team with his shooting ability and clutchness. I hope V-SPAN at least shows that he can handle the ball without turning it over otherwise I dont really see him getting any "meaningful" minutes this season with his inability to handle the ball and being too prone to fouls (I doubt it but hopefully I'm wrong). Mainly I hope we crush the Mavericks
