Kobe says he would choose Lebron over any other player to play with.

Here's a question for the board. Which of these players, if you had to pick one, is most similar to LeBron?

    (a) Oscar Robertson
    (b) Magic Johnson
    (c) Michael Jordan
    (d) Scottie Pippen

Kobe chose Lebron because he could not choose himself.

    i'd go with magic.

Both are more point forward types, great facilitators, amazing at getting to the hole and finishing, both with jumper issues and have a rep for an abysmal finals series on their resume :p

If the Heat had James Worthy, Bron would be their pg too.

I'd also add that the style of basketball the heat tend to excel at certainly resembles Showtime more than any of those others.

Easily Oscar. LeBron is very different from Magic, MJ and Pippen.

He's closest to Oscar b/c he basically is elite at everything like Oscar was; they both fill up the scoreboard.

Magic was pass-first, Lebron scores more.
MJ was mostly a scorer first, Lebron passes more.
Scottie is good at both, Lebron is just better than Pippen period.

And this interview was on ESPN LA. Funny how Max/marcellus and most LA radio shows talk about Lebron CONSTANTLY, and always compare Kobe/Lebron. Every day, Lebron's name comes up 3-4 times on ESPN LA, not ESPN Miami mind you.

Lebron averages 28 pts and 7 dimes for his CAREER.

Pippen's BEST YEAR was 22 pts and 7 dimes (career averages of 16pts and 5 dimes)

Pippen was the #1 guy for the Bulls for 2 straight years when Jordan was in retirement, and he never had comparable seasons to Lebron.

The only thing Pippen was better was defense. And Lebron's making huge strides right now as you can consider him a top 3 defender in this entire league.

MJ played like 20 games in 95, I am sure that hurt Pip's averages.

My fault, he took 93-94 off. Still you saw Pippen as the #1 option. He was a very good one at that as he was all-nba that year.
