Good defender who can be effective when given minutes. He was on the verge of breaking out in Toronto before getting traded to Memphis where he had to play behind zbo/gasol. Insane bargain.
Was wondering when a team was going to sign him. Sucks that it was the Lakers. Kind of wanted us to take a shot at him. I guess we went with Dorsey instead. I think they have the same contract basically.
Shocked he didn't get a better deal, always seemed like one of the most versatile and talented PF/C prospects to me. Hope we won't regret not signing him.
After the signing of Adrein, it didn't make much sense to go after him. DM should have signed Jason Smith with part of the MLE, as a backup 5 and as a 4 instead of going after Dorsey. I am not sure if Dorsey has agreed to terms with the Rockets as yet. I would rather sign Ryan Kelly if he is still free, instead of Dorsey.
Dorsey can play center. I don't watch much Memphis, but Davis looked good in Toronto. His stats in Memphis looked bad.
He averaged 1.0 points in 2.8 minutes in the OKC series. LOL http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/4259/ed-davis
