We won't know anything until the regular season. Until then it will all be "ahead of schedule" and "looks great"

If he is ready to go game 1...that means he did his work outs correctly.

Well if they stick to that schedule that I can't imagine them being able to stick to, there's a chance we could see him in the late preseason games. Either way, we'll have a better idea in camp if he's actually doing things.

My expectations are the same expectations when they drafted him... That he will not be worth that #1 overall pick.

And you are well within your rights to be pessimistic....but it doesn't make anyone else's opinion any more or less valid just because they choose to be realistic or optimistic.

Every update coming out of Kirby is that he's on schedule to possibly slightly ahead of schedule in his rehab. From what I hear he is straight line running, but he can't cut or anything as of right now. I expect him to start practicing at full speed at the end of TC.

I however do expect him to be on a snap count at the start of the season, and that's if he's ready to play. I don't expect Clowney to be full go until the second half of the season, and that's so long as he continues to progress throughout his rehabilitation.

And I think that running is only with a Zero G treadmill. I still don't think he can put the full weight of a run on it just yet.

Count down to Clowney having some other odd malody or injury that keeps him off the field... My money is on a paper cut to his ball sack or stubs his toe climbing into his Ferrari.

    Jokes on us though.

I expect him to start the season on the PUP and be ready to go Week 6.

For our sakes I hope Clowney is the next Demarcus Ware, he has more talent than Ware ever did but lets hope he gets healthy.

I wasn't trying to come across as a pessimist.

That dude sucks and injures prone. He took us to the bank and I just hope he makes me eat these words when and if he plays. I can see him getting attack by another dog or encounter a set back by falling out of the bed onto a plush animal. No heart...no desire...over hyped
