I did a 1 month subscription for $17 and am hoping that directv is able to televise the Rockets within a month. I use my PS4 to watch the games....the stream is very nice.

Is it possible for Cox Communications to get CSN Houston?

So does this mean Xfinity customers will lose Rockets games as well? Or just that DirectTV / AT&T customers gain the games?

Comcast customers will have the channel no matter what happens.

Maybe I missed it, but all I see in that article is this quote:

"The teams hope Root Sports Houston will be on the air by Oct. 29, the date of the first Rockets game available for local broadcast."

What they hope to do doesn't necessarily count as confirmation that it will happen.

You're right...I'm optimistic, but the plan still has to be confirmed by the judge. That could happen tomorrow.

Can somebody explain to me why DISH is getting left out in the dark in this?

I don't think Dish is necessarily being left out... but they just aren't involved in this because DirecTV and AT&T are buying the channel from Comcast.

Dish may get the channel later, I'm assuming.
