Hey again, I've floated this is an existing thread, so apologies if it seems like overload. I had a few requests for some K&M Rockets jerseys after the last post and decided to go the whole hog and re-brand. Logo and all. The designs are below, and my logo workings are visible at the site if you're interested. The unis look great. The only problem I have with the logo is that when the words are tilted to read it points the rocket shooting down. Probably not a suggestion for the state of the team. It would seem an easy enough fix unless you're really in love with the idea of tilted words. Everything is incredibly well done, though, so I'm guessing this stuff is more than just your hobby.
Regarding the logo, it seems appropriate that the Rocket is neither going up nor going down -- it's going sideways to show our mediocrity performances in the past and probably extending to the future if the current leadership team continues.
really like the jerseys! keep it up man and we should definitely find a way to send this to the higher ups within the rockets organization
yup jerseys look great, but wish there was one more splash of color somewhere so that it doesn't look as plain!
Wow, really clean looking jerseys. Please find a way to submit these to the higher ups in the rockets organization. They need to adopt these as their new jerseys.
Unis ok but the logo is pointless. Just go back to the original Houston logo - and a slightly updated version of the championship uniforms.
Can someone please send these to the organization or something. Please, these ****ing **** on our current unis which are/been a hot mess.
As a lifetime Rockets fan, I'd be great with this. Nice work. The Astros back in orange and blue...the Rockets back in red and yellow.
Wow that looks really good! I like the idea for the logo, but I think it could use some tweaks. I think it would look better if the basketball was shifted to where the rocket is going upward, and also if the "Houston" and "Rockets" were centered up. Overall, looks great. It's a good take on the classic colors with modern style.
Who's #34? Thabeet? Anyway, I would like to say that I like them, but unfortunately I don't. Sorry, just being honest. FWIW, I actually like our current road jersey. The home jersey, not so much. The McDonalds unis are the worst, though. Not to hijack your thread, but skiming through the logo tweak thread, these are the logo/court/jersey designs I like: Spoiler I also wouldn't mind -- and I'm probably in the minority -- our color schemes/jerseys being similar to what the Texans wear. Jerseys and color scheme and the Rockets font all look sick… the Logo i do not like.. I hate that the rockets have to have a rocket ship.. looks like a kids little rocket ship.. i like it better in the 90's when we opted for the basketball backgroud and just Houston Rockets written around the ball… this gives me NIGHTMARES…..
Awesome! Just like it's been mentioned with the Rocket facing upwards & the jerseys with a little bit of color splashed it so it won't seem as plain. But changes indeed need to be made throughout the organization with the team, uniforms, possibly management if there's another let down next season. Keep up the good work! :grin:
i love the unis and the logo. i don't think you need to change too much. maybe some minor tweaking here and there. but i would send this to the FO because it tooks fantastic
