RT @HoustonRockets: @Real_T_Mac will be in the building tomorrow as we pay tribute to his 13 in 35.

Leslie Alexander already personally invites T-Mac to sit next to him at multiple games every year. All the true Rockets fans already voted T-Mac to the Rockets all-decade team of the 2000s. McGrady's greatness will forever be etched into Rockets history.

I'm glad our organization continues to honor one of the greatest Rockets players ever.

    Thanks, T-Mac!

Yuck. This organization is all class though. At least no one will retire this clowns jersey and no hall of fame either.

The guy had a bad season AFTER playing hurt during the 22 in a row year that ended with a 55 win season WITHOUT Yao half of it. He played that year hurt and probably should have shut it down, but some people forget that. Microfracture is real and had he shut it down, it might have saved his career, but hey it is what it is. He also showed up during the playoffs when others didn't. He was never the same after that year and with his feisty persona added with the injury just left a bad taste in the mouths of many. The guy was a walking 24ppg 6 and 6 guy; I haven't forgotten that. I remember the good and the bad and the good outweighs.

You could always tell Les really loved watching McGrady play (when he could) and he admitted he thought of selling the team at the time because they were worth a lot more, especially because they had Tracy and Yao. He said he couldn't because nothing else brought him so much enjoyment.

    Breaking news:

Rockets to honor TMac at Pelicans game. There will be a podium wheeled out to the free throw line, Les Alexander will stand mid court, McGrady will walk onto the podium.
Les will watch McGrady walk onto the podium, think about approaching to present him with an award, but give up halfway there, and just go back to his seat.

    Will be very fitting.
