I think many non-Houston onservers of the NBA probably have an anchoring problem that's going to bias them away from rating Harden higher than Westbrook. He was #3 in OKC's Big 3, so most people will automatically score him less than Westbrook until something happens to jar perceptions -- and other-worldly performance by Harden, or a big fall by Westbrook. I think incremental organic growth in Harden's game won't be recognized.
About right, I have him as an 88 on my 2k13 roster. If he can improve efficiency and d up more he can make the leap. Paul George is rated a lil too high imo, should be around 86 or so. He's a defensive star but he can't give you 18-20 everynight and his playmaking isn't that good.
what? you think parsons and lins rating should only differ by 2 points!? I think parsons should be 83, and lin 74
What i'm more interested to see is harden's Offensive Rating. Lets be real guys harden is probably in the 90's in offense but his defensive rating is probably bringing his overall rating down.
The main NBA2K question I have is... Is this finally the year they take away Terrence Williams' super-human abilities so his fans finally stop saying that- "Teams need 2 give TWILL a chance cuz he be beastin on 2K"???
89 might be a point or two too low, how does he rank compared to Kobe or DWade? My biggest problem with 2k is that it favours certainly playing styles. For instance, I find Monta Ellis to be really overpowering. He may only have an 83, but he's really easy to score with if you can perform a simple dribble move.
Lin and Asik are a little too high. They should each be around 74/75. Howard should be around 88 or so.

Melo's a superstar? Are you kidding me? Harden just lead the youngest team in the NBA and a projected lottery team to the playoffs, Melo lead a vet NYc team to a 1-4 spanking. Harden should be 91 at least if Melo's 92.
he should be a 92 defense rating probably horrible but the euro step will make up for any bad defense
I never get why 2K is brought up serious in discussions like that. Its like saying the next Stars Wars movie needs to have Master Chief in it because he's goes boss style in Halo.
