Rockets general manager Daryl Morey told Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated that Tracy McGrady has begun working out with trainer Tim Grover.

"Rockets GM Daryl Morey tells me that T-Mac has started doing some drills with Tim Grover. Still no timetable on possible return," Mannix wrote on his Twitter page.

McGrady underwent shoulder surgery in late May.

I'm guessing there is a time table but he won't say it this time so he doesn't rush the knee.

he was still "pretty good": 25ppg, 4rpg, 7apg.

tim grover just made a huge difference.

They probably have a time table but there not going to put it out there yet. McGrady screwed himself last year when he said he will be ready by the first game but wasn't even himself..
