If you have a twitter account and are not in fact an actual journalist, you pretty much suck at society. Nobody cares what you think right now. Nobody wants to see pictures of your food. Quit acting like an entitled little teenager. Oh wait....#what...#nope. Still don't care.

Interact with actual people, or, ya know, just us on the bbs.

    Yeah, but **** twitter anyway.

If I had a twitter account, I would retweet this.

But I agree with the concept. Twitter shouldn't be for everyone. I think just important people like politicians, celebs and other media types should only have access to it. I don't think everyone really needs to have a voice.

One of the biggest problems with the millennial generation, (which I am a part of) is that everyone thinks they are special in their own way. Most of the time they are not. Most folks are ordinary and boring and never amount to anything. But it doesn't prevent them from yelling out at the top of their voices they are unique.

That's why so many people are celebs... because they are ordinary people who scream at the top of their lungs. porno to socialite kim k has more followers on twitter than anyone else.most people who don't get why kids like twitter are pretty much boring outcasts themselves. it's a LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR tool.

    You can't retweet it.

    Too many characters.

I also use twitter to stalk my ex-gf. It gives me joy to read that she's having a bad, lonely day.

This reminds me, I should create a new twitter account with a fake identity so in the event that I accidentally retweet a tweet that I'm stalking, nobody will know who I am. Epic winnnn!

Same here but it doesn't work for me, I always forget to check it. Clutchfans/J.R. act as my Twitter when its near the trade deadline or the first two weeks of July.

That is the exact reason why I got rid of FB. Twitter is a great resource for those on the go that just want to see interesting info online and fast. It is your one stop shop.

You don't necessarily have to be a journalist. BimaThug is a great follow because he always leaves updates about the Rockets salary cap and player movement etc. I would never follow anyone that leaves idiotic updates about what they had for breakfast or where they plan on going this evening.
