    ...in November.

Next year, it's second week of December. It does get coldish here in Houston, but typically this day runs a high chance of having flip-flop & shorts weather - which I'm not dissing - I just don't think is best suited for such a celebration. I just feel that if I am going to celebrate and have a feast then it is going to be done when its colder.

feels like when kevin's family goes to miami for christmas. this is just gross. der global warming is the realz! As 12yr old, the best part of thanksgiving was going to the back yard, playing foosball, watching your own breath as you exhaled, then hitting the cold wet grass after you get tackled by your own 30 yrd old cousin. flash 20 yrs later, it feels like september! grrrr! that's all i have to say about that.

It's 55 where I live. Warmest I can remember in the 12 years I've lived here.

Assuming you're originally from and still live in Houston this seems a bit off. I guess not having Aggie-Longhorns anymore: which is as good a reason as any to hate post-modern college football, and the Cowboys game being more of a national thing takes away from it, but I always thought Houston was a big enough city that each holiday has it's own feel or mini-tradition, like the Christmas tree lighting or 4th of July at Miller Outdoor.

Not every year was like that especially if you grew up in Houston. You just don't remember because you were young. It is gonna be in the 40s in Dallas tomorrow where I'm at for the holiday.
