I'm not convinced KJ is the answer at point even though I've wanted to see his D out there. But one thing is for sure...we are not winning a championship with Jason Terry as our starting point guard.

I don't think he is suggesting that KJ play the point. I think he means put KJ at the two and let Harden play the point, which he already does by default. Here is the deal, right now this team is awful from three. It doesn't matter whose name is on the back of the jersey. When that happens you need players on the floor that can generate offensive opportunities by doing other things. KJ's defense can potentially lead to more fastbreak opportunities and team possessions in general. He is a shot blocker in the back court and potentially a solid rebounding guard. This is why I keep saying that should try him and Harden in the backcourt. His shot will come with time. MJ didn't have a jumpshot until like year 4 or 5. Not saying KJ is the next MJ at all. Just saying that if the vets(Brewer, Jet, Thornton, TY, Bev) are going to piss off the opportunities to win games, coaches have to show them we have the young bucks ready and waiting to show what they can do in a real game. It's a long season they(the vets) will be called upon again. I bet you they take it more seriously next time they get out on the floor.

We're talking defensively ballplayer. It is a given that Harden runs the offense. K?

By the way, I've been saying we should try KJ defending points since the summer.

I find it amusing people are talking about his shooting % being the reason to keep him out when in reality it's his D we need.
Instead people want to see Harden and Ty on the floor with neither being able to defend.
Not to mention Jones has the highest 3pt % this season - meaning everyone else currently sucks at shooting.
So I really don't see KJ being worse at 3pt shooting than anyone else at this point, but it's his D, energy and drives to the rim I think we need more than his shooting %.

He may guard Conley again if Beverley is out. Does anyone remember how that went?
