    - Yao Ming scored 37 points in Houston's victory over Orlando. That equals the most points scored by a starting center against the Magic in the last five seasons. The other 37-point performance was also by Yao, on Jan. 25, 2004, in Orlando.

If Grant Hill is healthy, I would not mind taking a small low risk peak at him next year.

I wouldn't say that. Since Wade's injury, Shaq has scored...

    17 vs. Dallas
    19 vs. Cleveland
    20 vs. New York
    23 vs. Washington
    31 vs. Detroit
    14 vs. Atlanta
    24 vs. Chicago
    32 vs. Minnesota
    12 vs. Washington

Don't get me wrong; Yao > Shaq. But Shaq had stepped up his game quite a bit.

November 12, 2006 Houston Rockets vs. Miami Heats, Rockets crushed Heats 94-72 in Miami.
    Yao 34pts and 14rbs
    Shaq 15pts and 10 rbs

Yao dominated Shaq and if Yao had not been injured he would have been in the top 5 players in the league for this season. Shaq might have stepped up his game but he is nowhere close to Yao's domination this year over other centers. Yao has got almost every centers in the league in foul troubles this year.

because of the tempo of the game...thats like say how does yao get 36 points against a good defensive team like dallas but only get 15 vs the suns.
