    If we trade Sampson to Portland we would've got drexler and their draft pick (jordam) ....dream Clyde and Jordan nobody would've stopped us.

    You know, I have always wondered what it would have been like had that trade not gone the way it did. Elliot on that Rockets team would have been a damn good contributor, but one cant help but wonder how things would have been different those 2 years.

    Horry was extremely critical in the 95 playoffs, so much so that had not Hakeem been so dominant, he could have made a legitimate argument for Finals MVP. His play was outstanding that year.

    But lets not forget that Elliot wasn't a player that couldn't have contributed in his own way as well. Elliot was extremely underrated in his career.

    Horry mentioned that after returning to the Rockets, he lost his hesitation to jack up shots.

    Thus began the legend of the Big Shot.

    it started with the Rockets, not the Lakers.
