Nelly is studio garbage. His concerts sound like they hired some bums off the street for karoke night at the bar. He manufactures catchy songs and sells off it. Eminen has a different marketing attitude that sells off of abrasive and humerous lyrics. He'd probably demolish Nelly in a battle, IMO.
Personally, I'd rather hear Nelly on my radio than Eminem, but I'd say that Eminem easily has more natural ability than Nelly.
Way too keep it on topic ladies! As far as simply jamming out to, I have to go with Nelly. The thing is even he knows that he is all about selling records. He has good producers, but he could never hang with Eminem in lyrical talent. Slim Shady has a gift with words. Unfortunately the radio only likes to play his controversial stuff. In case you didn't get that, Eminem is better.
some people fail to understand this is about nelly and slim shady. The winner is nelly, he has better songs, plus he makes more money so duh.
So using that logic, Hanson would be better than, oh, Radiohead or Moby? Not by a long shot. Nelly vs Eminem is choose your poison - the mass culturization of rap vs. the expulsion of one's inner problems. I'll take neither.
Makes more money?!? Em's last CD sold 9.5 mill in 8 weeks. That alone will outsell what Nelly puts out. This shouldn't even be a discussion- Eminem would win against Nelly in a landslide.
