    I'd say JVG looks more like a janitor when walking around a stadium after practice. Unless you mean janitors typically smile more, like Casey.

    he really can't say much, he's obligated to the Mavs now and thats it

    but, I have a feeling that he would jump to coach the rockets if asked

    That was my feeling also.

    Pretty politic answer on his part; I liked that he had sense enough to do that.

    LOL. Yeah, I never really thought about it, but that is kind of a weird request the Rockets put out. "Looking for young and hungry coach." What does that even mean?

    When I was a high school senior living in Kentucky, our basketball team went up to Lexington to watch a Wildcats practice. Afterward we were allowed to tour the "Wildcat Lodge" which was an extravagant dorm the team then stayed in (since modified to meet rules violations). Dwane was a player on that team. I met and got an autograph from him. It's probably in a shoebox in my closet somewhere now.

    You are aging yourself! :) Did you get to meet Joe B also?

    The Lodge is still much nicer than the dorms, but now more than just the basketball players live there. They renovated it and renamed it for Hall.

    Yes I did. The funny thing is I couldn't stand UK (big UofL fan) so I felt like I was in enemy territory. At the time each player had their own room. There was a basketball mounted on the wall outside their door with their name on it. At the time they had a very exciting player named Dwight Anderson who fizzled out after transferring to USC. I enjoyed meeting him more than anyone and he was very cool.
