Post all of your sightings of Former or current players and coaches.

    JVG
-Today, walking in West University. Said "hey coach", he grinned and said hey back.
-Like 2 years ago, walking his lab in West University.

    Steve Francis
-In New York next to MSG when the Rockets were playing there. He got out of a really nice car, surrounded by people.

    Haven't really seen anyone else.

Artest goes to Lifetime Fitness at T&C on a basis of regularity. I know, weird right.

I've heard this too. My friend also goes there and has seen Artest on a number of occasions with his kids. He took pics of him on the courts form afar as Ron didn't want pics taken of him up front. Funny thing is when he asked Ron if he was Ron Artest, he replied "No I'm not." :D

I saw Yao at a gas station when he lived in Katy on Kingsland/Barker Cypress. I shook his hand (more like I held his finger), and asked him for an autograph and a picture but he said no. He was kind of mean but it was right after we lost to the Mavs so it was somewhat understandable.

recent memories (last 3-4 years) -

saw sura and his agents in a casino boat. said "hi bob i love your game". he said "thank you, and these are my agents". then we all shook hands.

saw tyron lue and stephen jackson in the airport.

met the whole okc hornets in a small airplane. (moochie was still with them.)

was eating lunch with my friends, and saw horry coming in for take-outs on west gray.

I met Peja Stojakovic at a Rockets/Hornets game, not a Rocket but still. Truly amazing meeting my idle, considering Peja is from the same country as me.

Luis Scola at the restaurant my girlfriend works at in Pearland. I was there at the bar watching the Dynamo game in the CONCACAF and he came in with some friends.

My girlfriend was waiting on him. He has like 6 kids. But he did siign autographs and take pictures with everone who asked.

He told her she had "beautiful eyes" but when his wife showed up a few minutes later he wouldnt speak to her except for yes/no answers lol :)

    - Von and Carl a couple weeks ago at Hooters (see thread for pics haha)
    - Rudy T. outside the TC on opening night this season. I have a picture with him too but I don't have it uploaded anywhere.
    - I also have autographs from Yao, Battier, Scola and more from standing by the tunnel before the games.

Shane Battier, saw him once at Buffalo Wild Wings @ Rice Village. The waitress supposedly said he comes there often for a few brewskis..

-Rudy T. at Randalls on Fondren; early '95. Very approachable guy.

-Robert Horry at the Oshman's next to Memorial City Mall; he was with the Lakers then. My mom bought a basketball right then and there for him to sign. He was kind enough to wait until we finished the transaction for the ball, and he took a picture with us.

-Sam Cassell at the same Oshman's; he was still with the Rockets. But this was an event about the fundamentals of shooting a basketball. B.E.E.F.

-Hakeem Olajuwon on the Dulles High School track; much later in his career before he got traded to Toronto. My sister sees him there up until this day. She approached him for an autograph, and he has photos in the back of his SUV for him to sign and give away.

-Bonzi Wells right after he was traded here. He was walking around at Sharpstown Mall.

    -Carlos Rogers; Sharpstown Mall.

    -Steve Francis; First Colony Mall

Forgot to add, Mike James at Hooters. That was right before he got traded here for his second stint. Looked like he didn't want to be bothered. He was with either his brother or a friend that looks just like him

Not a rocket, but I saw Shaq at Tinseltown theater by beltway 8 and richmond around 2001...I was getting pulled over by a cop bc of what he claims were "illegal tail lights" and my friend chunked the deuc to Shaq and shaq chunked it back, then the officer went "holy crap, is that Shaq?, just be sure to take care of those lights, i'll let you go this time" and he proceeded to follow and bug shaq while he was inside the theater...thanks agian Shaq! You saved me from paying a ticket!

Sadly, I haven't seen a rocket anywhere I don't think....although alot of my friends say they have seen Robert Horry over at Treasures or Centerfolds...one of those...
