I forgot about Gendry... he's been gone from the show for far too long. and i might add, a more ambiguous exit than the hound.
They were outnumbered, but it is silly that they were patrolling narrow streets shoulder to shoulder with spears. I know they're armed with short swords, too, but what's the point of carrying the spear when it's so limiting? Just a nitpick, not that it matters.
Not a book reader and not trying to nitpick, but Balon? I thought he would've wished it on those two and Renly. Isn't Balon still alive?
Renly was already dead at that time, and he did name Greyjoy, but I believe you are correct, he is still alive.
This is just my opinion from some of the research I've been doing. Spoiler what if Jon Snow is not Ned Stark's son, but his nephew?
Spoiler This is the most prevalent fan theory in GoT and it held a lot of weight before, but after the events of this past episode it has almost been confirmed. Jon Snow is not Ned Stark's b*stard but rather the culmination of forbidden love that set off the war of the 5 kings in the first place.
Spoiler Small clarification here, but that forbidden love set off Robert's Rebellion, not the War of the Five Kings. Unless you use the long game argument that had Robert never been king the War of the Five Kings wouldn't have happened. Coincidentally, the War of the Five Kings WAS the result of forbidden love and the b*stard produced by it, just not Jon Snow.
Spoiler Unclear. She will be breasfeeding twenty dragons as the final reveal is that she is a actually a mysterious missing Targaryen Princess
Spoiler I guess that's why that one dragon left Daenerys, not enough milk potential. Everything is so clear now.
Laughable comment. Xena wannabes and scheming harlots are both tropes that have been done to death, GOT has never been one to subvert tropes on purpose just to make a point. With that said, their scene still sucked. Not sure what the writers/director was smoking that day.
anyone else finding themselves cringing when they have one character finish off their dialogue and the other person shows their facial expression in reaction? i thought it was just every daenary scene, but season 5 is full of them. when the one sand snake threw the spear thru the captain's head and go 'i made my choice long ago', that was pretty bad.
