Bernie could be in a deathmatch with Cheney. Like a priest and vampire, a jedi and Vadar, good vs. evil...to the death!
BERNIE SANDERS TO ANNOUNCE TOMORROW At last a real challenge to rule by the billionaires and someone advocating an economy run for the benefit of the 99%. http://www.nationaljournal.com/2016-elections/bernie-sanders-2016-election-announcement-20150428 April 28, 2015 Hillary Clinton's first Democratic challenger will announce his 2016 run Thursday. Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed socialist, will join the sparse Democratic field in a subdued fashion similar to what Clinton did with a tweet and online video this month. First reported by Vermont Public Radio, a senior Sanders adviser confirmed to National Journal on Tuesday that the senator plans to release a statement Thursday that he's made a decision on 2016—and that he's going to go for it. Unlike Clinton's announcement, which has been retweeted more than 100,000 times, Sanders' statement likely won't send shockwaves through the primary field. The senator has long been openly considering a run, telling National Journal last year that he was "looking forward to running for president of the United States." (RELATED: 'I'm Right and Everybody Else is Wrong. Clear About That?') The Sanders adviser said the senator, one of two independents in the chamber, would launch his campaign at a formal event in May.
Americans hate cars! Sanders is a "true believer," so many of the others on both sides are just political hacks. I think Sanders really cares about people. I have always liked him personally. Some of his view are a bit extreme, but I think his heart is in the right place. He is genuine.
I'm all for Bernie BTW, he raised 1.5 mil in the last 24 hours! Progress! Let's give Hillary a run for her money!!
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...nals-aggressive-challenge-to-hillary-clinton/ Lots more where that will come from.
When so many jobs get offshored, the financial institutions are the ones that gain the most. They've got more money than teamsters or individual regular folk. A giant sucking sound. That Bernie Sanders sounds like he is a crazy old man.
I know you truly don't believe he's advocating for the removal of cars from American society. Nobody is. But here is a story from a few years ago about an interesting new trend among *gasp* young people: NPR: Why Millennials are Ditching Cars and Redefining Ownership

Sanders taking on the corporatists and the billionaires on ABC Sunday Show with Stephanopolous. Hey it might even be good for ratings given the usual boring pablum. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dbtnheO61x0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Anyone with any sense of awareness of the source of our problems knows that this is the guy to help fix the foundation of this country. He speaks from a position of genuineness and it's obvious the MNC are not in his pocket. Deregulation in the mid - late 90s/2000 (all under Clinton's watch!) created the disaster and inequality that is our current economy. America was far better off prior to that deregulation as well as the crap trade agreements that allowed the offshore of so many middle class blue collar jobs. Don't know enough about his entire platform to say he should for sure be president but I'd rather see 4-8 years of this guy based on two interviews I've seen than Hillary. Enough of the last 15 years already.
If not Bernie, which one of these hookers/hoes do you want in office after the term of the puppet that is currently in office...?
