On Tuesday, Trump called a press conference to give an accounting of the donations raised, albeit begrudgingly. of all the Veterans organizations listed by the Trump campaign, the AP was able to confirm that all had received funds from the Orange Duce within the last two weeks. one of the factors causing the delay, accord to the Trump campaign, was the lengthy process of verifying the recipients' tax records. how ironic! in view of this, i predict that the Orange Duce will also give in to shaming / bullying to disclose his tax returns

More stories about Trump donating millions to the vets please idiots (adoo). I don't think has had enough coverage about it yet. Please keep playing into his hands.

So, in sum, Trump got to skip a debate against Ted Cruz and the result is wall-to-wall coverage about his donations to vets.
— Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) May 31, 2016

That's 51% of the total population you are ridiculing, including your wife and mother (no they are shapely AND cool)
The coverage isn't that he has 'donated money'. It's more like 'He's purposefully using the vet card as a sleight of hand'. And surprisingly, many vets AREN'T falling for it. Most that I served with know that he is just using us as a card and nothing more. Trump couldn't care less about vets or the military before his presidential bid and now he magically does? K. We aren't generally THAT DUMB.
The story is that he allegedly raised money but failed to provide it until the press checked up on it.

**Allegedly** A lot of those NP's received checks months ago I like the liberal card that is being played right now "Trump is angry with us for doing our jobs!" blah blah blah The problem is they weren't doing their jobs, they were slamming him and making assumptions and accusations without the facts. They SHOULD have asked questions and dug into it, looked for the money trail. THAT is what media is supposed to do. Instead they pushed articles and headlines out with assumptions and accusations like "Trump REFUSES donations to Vets" "Trump lied to vets" "Trump scammed Vets!" etc.. I'd have no problem with them doing their *jobs* and asking questions, but that isn't what they did and it's pathetic to see them play that card and lure gullible people in on false pretense.
Can you link me to an article from a major reputable source(WSJ, NYT etc) where they fired an accusation without any investigation performed by themselves or fired an accusation without citing any investigation performed by another party in regards to this specific matter? I'm just curious. Maybe you are right. Key word is 'major', something that is influential and is well known.
If you are a Trump supporter, this statement is rather hypocritical. Trump's MO is to do exactly that. He can dish it but I can't take it. He has yet to offer evidence that Muslim's were dancing in the street in NJ.
You are wrong and getting bamboozled by Trump like a noob. They did their jobs and showed that he did not provide the money to the groups...until they asked about it. He got caught, and you, much like Trump, can't handle the truth.
mental midgets like you lack the mental capacity to comprehend that it is about his failure to account for the funds he had raised for the veterans groups while Trump boasted that he had raised $6 M, his campaign reported varying #s on several occasions. no one was able to account for who the recipients were.
He gave a list and the amounts. Did you not do research at all before posting the thread. Now he has a huge platform to brag about. Way to make a thread about it genius. Are you a Trump supporter? You have a made a thread that will be about how much he donated away to vets and how is making the treatment of vets an election issue.

Here are the veterans' groups that have received money from the Trump campaign, totaling $5.6 million. pic.twitter.com/7AWcZfAkP0
— Brad Mielke (@TheBradMielke) May 31, 2016

The story is that Trump greatly exaggerated or lied about his "donations" to veterans in order to use veterans as a rag to polish his own image. http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/trumps-veterans-controversy-goes-bad-worse He flat out lied about how many veterans he was helping, and about how much he donated to veterans. It's odd that people who are tired of the system because of dishonest politicians support Trump. He's been shown to be dishonest, use others (veterans) for his own political gain. He was accused of fraud back in 2013 for his Trump U, BS. So we have a fraudulent liar, who tries to profit on the backs of those who served our nation in the military, and somehow, that's different than our current political system? He's hardly the outsider he claims to be.
According to your vast research and evidence, when was the money that was raised four months ago actually distributed?
So your problem is the millions trump raised for vets and distributed was not quickly distributed and you want this broadcast on the news because you think that will play well with voters. LMAO.
No part of it is the fact that one of the "Veterans groups" Trump was stumping for and said represented thousands of veterans, actually can only be seen to actually have the one member who is of course a Trump supporter. Add to that Trump not actually giving funds he was claiming to give to veterans until it started coming out that he wasn't giving to them. Sure, better late than never with those donations. But if you want to buy into Trump's line about his support for Veterans, you are definitely entitled to. I'm just looking at his patterns of behavior and deceit.
