back when i drank sodas, i used to live on diet coke... i drank about 7-8 cans a day and absolutely no water...

somehow, i was able to keep running w/o water, i'll never figure that one out.

but i finally gave up all soda about 5 months ago... however, i still highly recommend diet coke...

other greats include diet sunkist and diet mountain dew. (just for a change of pace from dark sodas)

Cherry Diet Coke. Plain Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi is the worst in my opinion.

I became a diet coke drinker after the wife quit buying regular coke. Now I can't drink the regular stuff. I even mix all my drinks with diet which took a while to get use to but now I like them better that way.

I also am addicted to Diet Coke. It is because of all of the nicotine they put in it.

Diet Coke. There's no substitute for the real thing, but I can't drink it cause of the sugar. I need to stop... I'm sure the chemicals are awful for me. I used to put sparkling water over ice with a splash of grape juice or something. Got out of the habit after we had kids (their not allowed to touch ANY soda of any kind, and can't stand it, thank goodness!) Kids are very distracting, aren't they. But I wouldn't trade mine for the world. (aawww, how sweet. ;))

Seriously, though, I am an absolute Fresca addict. It is the only diet soda that does not taste diet to me.

You can't get it in NY, but at least some stores in Houston carry Diet RC. It's the best. It's different than Diet Rite.

If you can find Diet RC, go for it. It also has no aspertame, or whatever that chemical is.

    Diet orange soda rules!

Of course, you can only score it at the grocery store.

Best diet soda ... hmmmmmmm ...let me think about it ... oh yeah, THEY ALL SUCK!!!!!

The taste is bad and the aspartame is worse. I usually stick with water or herbal iced tea.

Let's see, do I want to rot all of my teeth drinking regular sodas, or develop a brain tumor drinking diet sodas? Hmmm, tough choice. :)

Pepsi One.....tastes the most like a real (sugar filled) cola.

Not very consistent though....sometimes it tastes like regular Pepsi, and sometimes it tastes like regular Coke.

The best diet soda on planet Earth is Miller Lite.
