I know the players don't give a crap...at least I assume they don't. I just wish they would listen to us more involved fans a bit and make the brewers their personal b****es this season.
15 of St Louis's 16 games thus far have been vs the central division. While its fair to say they are not a bad team, we really dont know how good they are yet either.
Geez, Greinke's stuff is so good. He really forces hitters to be overly aggressive early in counts because they know when and if they get two strikes on them, it's all but over.
A really good pitcherd drafted out of HS. I hope the Astros don't spend the #1 pick on an overworked college pitcher...
Greinke's stuff looks so good because the umpire is giving him strikes that are a foot outside. Any pitcher can look perfect when his zone is that big. That K (looking) against Martinez was classic - all three pitches were clear as day out of the zone. Pretty incredible. And now, as I type this, Hart gets a leadoff walk against Lyon on a pitch that was MUCH closer than any of the three that struck out Martinez, thereby killing a potential rally.
Lyon in one third of an inning 1 wild pitch 1 hit batter 1 walk 2 hits 1 k then, fortunately Bailed out by inning ending double play. How can it escape anyone that this guy cant pitch?
