I don't think defense is a legitimate reason for him not to be up, just saying Schwarber was often in LF, as there was always doubt he'd stay at catcher, and that it would speed up his path to the bigs.

Yea, Brad is a head scratcher for sure. Evidently, the long game is being played when it comes to Singleton. I guess the brass feel a 40 man spot is worth less than his contract. And he played 3B when he could have played LF. Moran was the DH, so he could have played 3rd base. Why not play Bregman in LF?
