Glad for the guy, stuck it out and made it work, despite rocky start in securing a roster spot on teams early on. Not a bad paycheck for him and still a fair deal for the Suns as their main defensive perimeter stopper.

Reasonable contract for a very good defensive player.

Well. Tucker was my pick to replace Parsons if we weren't matching.

Good deal for him though. Around the MLE money is about right.

Man really great signing for the suns, that dude could of easily got paid 8 mill a year. He would of been a really nice MLE pick up, but oh well.

So Tucker is getting 5M avg/per while Parsons getting 15M avg/per. I just don't see how CP is worth 10M more per yr... redonculous

if we offered him MLE, the suns would have matched and laughed at us. and it would have tied us up making other moves.

No doubt. I'm really surprised Tucker didn't get 8-9 million in this market.

IMO Parsons is only worth about 3-4 million more then Tucker. Tucker should of go 7-8 mill a year, Parsons 11-12

Good for him, not many people leave the league for as long as he did and come back like that.

    Tucker >>>>>> Parsons on D
    Parsons >>>>> Tucker on O

Tucker is being paid decent value. Goes to show how overrated Parsons has become.

I haven't cared about any of the free agents that have been signed but this one. That's a great deal for Tucker. We could really use a player like him

If pj tucker is so valuable, why did no other team offer him? Yet there are reports that Cleveland Dallas and LA among others were ready to give Parsons a deal?

I wouldn't have paid Tucker that much. I think he's replaceable via draft...unless his improved 3 pt shooting is legit and continues with volume.

Sure, in context of Hayward/Parsons it makes sense...but not given other options

Considering Ariza is gonna get like 9 or 10 million and they are the same player, it's a lovely deal.

    Again, it's about potential.

    Parsons has potential, Tucker doesn't.

But still I agree, that Parsons is being overpaid and Tucker is a nice pick up.
