What's going on with him? Is he injured or what? This guy seems to be getting worse as the season goes on. Way too many missed shots on wide open looks. If we had a Kyle Korver type wing on this team we could be dangerous. Just my two cents but Brewer needs to see more minutes.

    2 steals, 3 rebounds, 4 assists in 13 minutes.

We didn't get him for his scoring. Just need him to hit about 35% of his threes.

Yeah. Ariza can keep bricking for all I care, he's really good at defense and his gambles actually pay off unlike Pat Bev and Lin when he was here.

Thank God for his perimeter D or he'd be absolutely useless.

I would still rather have him than pretty boy Parsons.

i appreciate what he brings to the table. but on a night like this when he's beyond terrible offensively, stop shooting. stop parking behind the line and do something else. set a screen or weave from sideline to sideline. anything beats clanking 3 after 3 after 3.

His defense is going to be a huge plus in the playoffs.

But the Rockets will have trouble winning in the playoffs if Ariza can't hit 3's. He's gotta turn it on at some point.

He missed a shot or had a bad game, time to trade him. Let's see if we can get melo. Has cyberx heard anything new? Cut him, trade him, call him, text him, cut off your own hair. That's the logic here.

Ariza has been shooting the three much better over the last few weeks and has had multiple games shooting over 50% from the field. He's off tonight, but like others have said, he's contributing in other ways.

He's not Parsons, but his Defense is going to be very valuable in the PS.

at some point , you have to keep the defense somewhat honest. This is ridiculous. He can't shoot, and he can't finish dunks /lay-ups anymore.

Absolute offensive liability we have with him and Bev at times.

do your homework. look at his game log in january compared to nov/dec. here look at it yourself http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/2426/trevor-ariza

ariza was playing heavy minutes until the mass injuries stopped and trades and now he's at 30mpg in jan instead of 38-40 in nov/dec. he was guarding the other team's best wing scorer and had to be the 2nd or 3rd option. what else do you want him to do wipe ur butt? wash ur dishes?

He's honestly way worse than he was when he was with the Rockets in 09-10

Correct, Ariza can play D but I don't think this team can get to the mountaintop until they find another sharp shooter at the 3 spot. That, and the Rockets need an upgrade at the PG position.

His defense is lacking, but he makes up for it with good shot selection and offensive efficiency.

Actually, I'd like to see him make some shots. I think part of the reason we signed him was because he shot 40% from three point range last year. He's only shooting 37% overall , and 32% in three pointers for this season. So, I'd like to see him make a few shots.
