ThumbDrives: Any difference in brands? Was at MicroCenter [which is moving soon] and saw their thumbdrives they had one with 128 GBs! [this could hold all the computers from my high school] Anyway . . . .does the brand names mean anything I have not notice but though I would ask Rocket River
128 GB flash drives are obsolete. Try 1 TB. Higher-end flash drives and thumb drives have varying degrees of durability, security, capacity, and speed. However, most generic USB flash drives are similar in their capabilities, and brand rarely makes a difference.
WD over Seagate for flash drives, anyone but Lexar for thumbs. HP puts effort into all their peripherals if you can find one of their thumb drives, probably not a bad idea to buy one.
